- Choosing your land
- Selecting a floor plan
- Securing financing and closing construction loan
- Clearing and grading your land
- Laying the footing and foundation
- Framing the house
- Choosing exterior finishes
- Installing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Insulating
- Installing drywall
- Choosing interior finishes
- Conducting final walk-through and settlement
